At Antioch, we believe that marriage is the most foundational relationship of society. Because the marriage relationship is so significant, we consider it a privilege and an honor to participate in weddings when possible and upon request.
Because it is our desire to support you in your marriage and not just at your wedding, we have the following expectations of couples who desire to be married by one of our pastors.
The Wedding Request Form is not a contract, but a submission of basic wedding information (who, when, where) and a request to begin the wedding process at Antioch.
Upon receipt of your Wedding Request Form, an Antioch staff member will review your wedding request and contact you to discuss your request within three business days.
Once your wedding request has been approved, you will receive the Antioch Wedding Guide and the Antioch Wedding Agreement by email. It is requested that you read the Antioch Wedding Guide, sign the Antioch Wedding Agreement, and pay the $250 Deposit within 30 days to hold your reservation.
Your Pastor will contact you to schedule your first Premarital Conversation. You may be asked to complete the Prepare Enrich Premarital Assessment. This Assessment tool is designed to assess the way each person thinks with regard to big life issues. Where there is common ground, your pastor will celebrate with you. Areas of disagreement are great places to start conversation that can build a strong and thriving marriage.

Wedding ceremonies may only be held at the Oelwein Campus. Marion and Stoney Point campuses do not host on-site weddings. Pastors will travel to an off-site wedding venue (travel fee may apply).
Wedding ceremonies will not be scheduled on Sundays, holidays, or between Dec 20 – Jan 2.
